In order to improve user security and minimize the risk of fraudulent users in the platform, SMP shall be required to implement an email verification process in their platform as a mechanism to verify the user email provided by the user at the time of sign-up in the platform. This will assist in filtering fraudulent users and mitigate the risk of fraud transactions in the platform. This is a mandatory requirement.
